About ReachAcross
Founded in the 1950s by Dr. Lionel Gurney, ReachAcross (originally the Red Sea Team) began after his time serving in a hospital in Yemen inspired him to reach Muslims with the message of Jesus. Despite early doubts from others, the team grew into an international movement sharing Christ’s love throughout Africa, the Middle East, and now among Muslim diaspora communities in the West. ReachAcross continues its mission today, believing that Jesus is revealing Himself to Muslims and remaining faithful to join Him in that work.
